All students have been strongly reminded not to engage in any type of misconduct, indiscipline, or other actions that could be mistaken for ragging. Under no circumstances shall such conduct be tolerated or excused, and those found guilty will face severe disciplinary action.
UGC Ragging Rules and Regulations
"RAGGING IS COGNIZABLE OFFENCE AND IS BANNED IN ANY FORM INSIDE & OUTSIDE THE CAMPUS" RAGGING IS AN OFFENCE TOTALLY PROHIBITED IN THE UNIVERSITY AND ANYONE FOUND GUILTY OF RAGGING AND / OR ABETTING RAGGING, WHETHER ACTIVELY OR PASSIVELY, OR BEING A PART OF A CONSPIRACY TO PROMOTE RAGGING IS LIABLE TO BE PUNISHED IN ACCORDANCE WITH UGC REGULATIONS ON CURBING THE MENACE OF RAGGING IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS AS WELL AS UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF ANY PENAL LAW FOR THE TIME BEING IN FORCE.
One or more of the following punishments depending on the nature and the gravity of the guilt may be awarded to those found guilty namely:
Student becoming a victim of ragging should immediately inform to the concerned Chairperson/ Warden as the case may be besides contacting on Helpline nos. given below.
