About the Program

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is driven by the vision of bringing transformational change to rural development by harnessing the knowledge and expertise of educational institutions. The mission of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is to empower higher educational institutions to collaborate with rural communities in identifying development challenges and crafting sustainable solutions for growth. The initiative also seeks to establish a strong connection between society and academia, offering knowledge and practices that shape emerging professions while enhancing the capabilities of both public and private sectors to meet the development needs of rural India. Dr. Pinaki Laha, Department of Physics has been appointed as a Project coordinator of UBA.

Program Objectives

B.R.A. Bihar University is committed to fostering the overall development of its adopted villages by disseminating knowledge and providing training. The program is tailored to address the specific needs of rural development, aiming to make villagers self-reliant through practical knowledge and application.
